About Syncro

Syncro is a unified and secure IT management platform that enables IT teams to manage tickets, devices, billing, and automation in a single pane of glass. We’ve been MSP-first and are now investing heavily in serving IT departments at growing mid-market companies.

We are hiring a BDR focused on IT departments to drive high quality pipeline for our sales team. You will own outbound execution across target accounts, helping turn strategic outreach into real conversations, pipeline, and revenue.

The Opportunity:

You’ll be responsible for generating qualified meetings that turn into pipeline and revenue with small and mid-sized businesses. As a BDR, you will research target accounts, identify the right IT personas and buying groups, and execute multi channel outreach to secure high quality conversations.

You will partner closely with AEs, Marketing, and Sales Leadership, engaging prospects through outbound, signal based plays, and account based motions.

What You’ll Do:

Prospect into target accounts

  • Identify and break into priority accounts with a structured, account based approach.
  • Use tools like ZoomInfo to quickly research companies, buying groups, and key stakeholders.
  • Multi thread into accounts to reach the right people at the right moment in their buying journey

Run multi-channel outbound

  • Execute outbound across email, phone, and LinkedIn through Outreach sequences, with messaging already built so you can focus on high quality, human conversations.
  • Set and monitor alerts in ZoomInfo for buying triggers and intent signals.
  • Book qualified meetings and demos that translate into pipeline and revenue.

Qualify opportunities

  • Apply ANT, Authority, Need, Timing, qualification across target accounts.
  • Capture clear notes, next steps, and buying context in Salesforce so AEs can run effective follow up calls.

Collaborate and iterate

  • Partner with AEs to prioritize accounts and refine messaging based on real world feedback.
  • Provide Marketing with feedback on campaigns, content, and messaging that resonates with IT buyers.
  • Track and report on activity, meetings booked, and pipeline generated.

Must have skills:

  • 2–3 years of SDR/BDR experience in B2B SaaS, ideally selling to technical or IT buyers.
  • Proven success in outbound prospecting: cold calls, emails, and social selling.
  • Comfortable working from a target account list and hitting activity + SQL goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; you can be concise, clear, and punchy in prospect engagements.
  • Curious about technology and how IT teams work; you’re comfortable talking about tools and workflows.
  • Coachable, competitive, and willing to test new approaches and iterate quickly.

Nice To have skills:

  • Experience prospecting into IT teams or related personas (IT Ops, Help Desk, SysAdmin, etc.).
  • Familiarity with sales tools like ZoomInfo, Chorus, Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn
  • Experience in a similar mid-market / commercial segment (200–1,500 employee companies).

Why This Role is Exciting

  • You’ll be part of a new, high-visibility Internal IT motion with a lot of upside.
  • Direct line of sight from your work to pipeline, revenue, and GTM strategy.
  • Tight partnership with a unified GTM team across marketing and sales, clear opportunity to grow into AE over time.

Interview Process: At Syncro we believe in transparency and providing candidates with as much information as possible so you can make an informed decision during your job search. Below are the steps of the interview process you can expect:

  • Initial Zoom call with HR
  • Sales Interview
  • Team Interview
  • Executive Interview

We value the opportunity to meet our potential team members face-to-face; therefore, a live, in-person interview is a required final step before an offer is extended. Please note that this will include travel at Syncro's expense to do so.  To ensure the integrity of our team, all successful candidates will also undergo a thorough background and identity screening during the onboarding process.

AI Usage Policy for Interviews:

We encourage candidates to use AI tools to help prepare for interviews, whether that means practicing responses, researching our company, or refining your resume. That said, during live interviews, we expect all answers and interactions to come directly from you without real-time help from AI or other tools. We are not looking for perfect answers. We are looking for honest insights, real experiences, and genuine communication so we can fairly and accurately get to know you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
