Job Summary
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will play a key role in identifying and qualifying new opportunities for BaRupOn’s services and solutions. This entry-to-mid-level role focuses on lead generation, prospect outreach, and supporting the sales pipeline for priority verticals such as energy, healthcare, or government contracts.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct outreach to prospective clients via email, phone, LinkedIn, and trade events
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule discovery meetings for senior sales staff
- Maintain detailed CRM records and update contact activity, deal stages, and follow-ups
- Assist in developing pitch decks, capability statements, and outreach content
- Research target industries, government solicitations, and procurement calendars
- Attend networking events, virtual webinars, or conferences to identify new business leads
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and proposal teams to support RFP responses and bids
- Report weekly activity metrics and continuously optimize lead generation efforts
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or customer outreach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail and CRM discipline
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and enthusiasm for infrastructure, health, or energy sectors
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools
- Experience in government contracting, energy, healthcare, or industrial sectors
- Comfort working in fast-paced, startup-like environments
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/French) a plus
