The Business Development Representative (BDR) at Seeq plays a crucial role in driving the company's growth by identifying and connecting with potential customers. You will be responsible for generating new leads, qualifying prospects, and creating opportunities for the sales team by effectively communicating the value of Seeq’s solutions. Your in-depth research and outreach efforts will help in nurturing relationships with prospective clients and contribute to the overall success of the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research on target accounts to identify key decision-makers and tailor outreach efforts accordingly.
  • Engage with potential customers through various channels such as cold calling, email communication, and social media to create interest in Seeq's products.
  • Qualify leads based on their fit within the ideal customer profile and gather valuable information about their time series data challenges.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings for the sales team with high-potential leads.
  • Manage and nurture leads using CRM software to track interactions and follow-up activities.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and improve outreach strategies.
  • Meet or exceed monthly lead generation and appointment setting targets.
  • Continuously improve your knowledge of Seeq's offerings and the industry to effectively communicate value to prospects.
Requirements

Seeq seeks dynamic individuals who are passionate about technology and sales. The ideal candidate will likely possess the following qualifications:

  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and experience with outbound prospecting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • A proactive approach, strong time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks to achieve both individual and team objectives.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, being adaptable and open to feedback.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, such as Salesforce, to manage leads and track performance.
