About Us

We help healthcare practices grow by connecting them with the resources they need to attract more patients, improve revenue, and operate more efficiently.

Our services span marketing, revenue cycle management, procurement, and human resources, with a focus on orthodontics, dental, pediatric dentistry, and med spa practices.

We are looking for a proven Business Development Representative to help drive new business across these markets.

The Opportunity

This is a consultative B2B sales role for someone who can build relationships, uncover business problems, and sell solutions.

You will develop new business opportunities, engage practice owners and decision-makers, conduct discovery, present solutions, manage opportunities through the sales process, and ultimately close new business.

The ideal candidate is a true hunter who is comfortable creating their own pipeline and has demonstrated success selling a complex product or service to business decision-makers.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and develop new business across orthodontic, dental, pediatric dentistry, and med spa markets

  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities

  • Conduct consultative discovery with doctors, practice owners, executives, and other decision-makers

  • Identify business challenges related to patient acquisition, growth, revenue, and operations

  • Position PatientPath solutions based on each prospect's specific needs

  • Conduct sales presentations and product/service demonstrations

  • Develop strong relationships with prospects throughout the sales cycle

  • Navigate objections and negotiate effectively

  • Own opportunities from initial conversation through close

  • Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity data in HubSpot

  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and implementation teams to ensure a strong client transition

  • Continuously identify new prospecting strategies, referral opportunities, and market opportunities

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Proven success in B2B sales and new business development

  • Demonstrated experience with a consultative sales process

  • Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

  • Experience selling to business owners, executives, physicians, dentists, or other senior decision-makers

  • Strong prospecting and pipeline-development skills

  • Excellent discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities

  • Ability to understand a customer's business and connect their needs to a solution

  • Self-motivated, competitive, organized, and accountable

Preferred:

  • Experience selling marketing, healthcare, consulting, or other recurring B2B services

  • Existing relationships within dental, orthodontic, medical, or aesthetics markets

The Person We're Looking For

You are more than an appointment setter.

You're a business developer who can create demand, lead a conversation, uncover a problem, build a business case, and close the opportunity.

You are comfortable picking up the phone, sending the email, asking the tough questions, and talking directly with an owner or doctor.

You don't wait for leads to appear, you create opportunities.

You understand that great sales isn't about pushing a product. It's about understanding the customer's business well enough to show them why solving the problem matters.

Why PatientPath?

You'll have the opportunity to sell a differentiated suite of services into markets where practice owners face real, measurable growth challenges.

You'll work with an experienced team across marketing, revenue cycle management, procurement, and practice growth and you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the company's growth.

If you are a proven B2B consultative seller who loves building relationships, creating opportunities, and winning new business, we'd like to meet you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
