Why You'll Love Working With Us
Function Health is the AI operating system for health, designed to empower people to live 100 healthy years. We are redefining how individuals understand, measure, and improve their health by moving beyond the limitations of traditional care and enabling comprehensive, continuous insight into human biology. Function has been recognized as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2024, and is venture-backed by Redpoint and other leading venture firms. Over half a million members have joined Function to take control of their health.
Through comprehensive lab testing, MRI and CT imaging, longitudinal data, and guidance from AI and clinical teams, Function gives members a complete and continuous view of their health — and the clarity to act on it. Through acquisitions across imaging, mobile phlebotomy, and supplement tracking and optimization, Function is building an integrated health platform that spans the full path from testing to health clarity to daily action.
Function recently announced a $298M Series B and is entering its next chapter of growth. As we scale, the quality and durability of our People systems, data, and insights will directly shape our ability to attract, retain, and support exceptional talent.
We are growing our team and seeking out world-class talent that deeply believes in our mission to positively impact global health, has a relentless bias toward action, and a growth mindset. Function fosters a collaborative and dynamic environment where every day we build the future.
We are seeking a creative and passionate Business Development Representative to join our team. You will work with our Enterprise Partnership team to research and identify companies and contacts within our target market to set up meetings to talk about Function. You'll work on a cutting-edge product that enables our members to access their health data in real-time, and you'll be challenged to make a difference in people's lives.
The ideal candidate is comfortable building from scratch, navigating ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, working cross-functionally to get the job done, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. As an early member of our team, your contributions will play a critical role in shaping the future of our member experience as we scale from currently thousands of members to millions.
This role is best suited for those energized by fast-paced environments, excited to build in a high-growth setting, and deeply motivated by our mission at Function. If you're looking for meaningful challenges, dynamic work, and the opportunity to make a real impact—we’d love to meet you.

- Digital One-to-Many Outreach: Build, test, and optimize multi-channel cadences (email, phone, social) for net-new prospects.
- Campaign Execution: Work with Marketing to execute email blasts, webinar invitations, and event follow-ups; segment lists and ensure proper tagging in the marketing automation platform.
- High-Level Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound prospects at a high level—gathering basic fit and interest data—and schedule sales-qualified meetings for Enterprise Partnerships reps.
- Data-Driven Growth: Be a key component in ensuring our CRM data drives the strategy for our future growth: track outreach performance and iterate on messaging.
- 1–2 years in a BDR/SDR or similar high-velocity sales role (B2B SaaS or digital health preferred) in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven experience prospecting into mid-market and large enterprise accounts and fueling sales pipeline growth.
- Hands-on expertise with Salesforce (data entry, reports, dashboards) and prospecting tools (ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, SalesLoft).
- Excellent verbal and written communication—able to craft clear, compelling outreach and maneuver through ambiguity.
- A curious, results-oriented mindset: you’re always looking to learn, give/receive feedback, and relentlessly pursue goals.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a growing team.
