We’re seeking a Business Development Representative who will help build pipeline for Fresche Analytics, connecting organizations with solutions that improve reporting, financial visibility, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making.

Job Summary

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) – Fresche Analytics, you will be a crucial member of our sales team, responsible for generating qualified leads and building a strong pipeline of Analytics opportunities.

A key focus of this role will be engaging CFOs, Finance leaders, FP&A teams, Controllers, and other business stakeholders who can benefit from improved financial reporting, analytics, and access to enterprise data.

Your primary goal will be to proactively identify target accounts, engage key decision-makers, qualify potential opportunities, and schedule high-quality introductory meetings for the Analytics sales team.

Responsibilities

Proactive Prospecting

  • Identify and research potential clients and target accounts for Fresche Analytics solutions.
  • Identify key decision-makers including CFOs, Finance leaders, FP&A teams, Controllers, and Analytics leaders.
  • Utilize prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and industry databases to build targeted prospect lists.

Outreach & Engagement

  • Conduct outbound outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate interest in Fresche Analytics.
  • Clearly articulate how analytics solutions can improve financial reporting, business intelligence, data visibility, and decision-making.
  • Tailor outreach based on the prospect’s industry, business challenges, role, and existing technology environment.

Lead Qualification

  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand the prospect’s current reporting, analytics, and data environment.
  • Identify challenges such as manual reporting, spreadsheet dependency, fragmented data, limited visibility, or inefficient financial reporting processes.
  • Determine whether prospects have a potential need for Fresche Analytics solutions.
  • Accurately document qualification information within Salesforce and sales engagement platforms.

Meeting Scheduling

  • Schedule qualified introductory meetings between potential clients and the Analytics sales team.
  • Provide clear context regarding the prospect’s challenges, business priorities, stakeholders, and potential opportunity.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff of qualified opportunities to Account Executives.

Pipeline Generation

  • Consistently generate qualified Analytics leads and opportunities.
  • Build relationships with new Finance and business stakeholders within target accounts.
  • Track and report on lead generation activities, meetings, opportunities, and pipeline generated.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine Analytics-focused outbound campaigns and messaging.

CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospecting activities and interactions within Salesforce.
  • Track progress against activity, meeting, opportunity, and pipeline targets.
  • Maintain accurate account and contact information to support ongoing prospecting efforts.

Market Knowledge

  • Develop a strong understanding of the Data & Analytics landscape, including financial analytics, business intelligence, reporting, AI, and modern data platforms.
  • Stay informed about Fresche Analytics solutions, customer use cases, and value propositions.
  • Develop an understanding of the business challenges facing CFOs and Finance organizations.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with Analytics Account Executives to identify priority accounts and generate qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on targeted Analytics and Finance-focused campaigns.
  • Share feedback on prospect objections, messaging effectiveness, market trends, and customer pain points.

Targets & Metrics

  • Consistent outbound prospecting activity across phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Qualified Meetings: Generate approximately 8–12 qualified Analytics meetings per month.
  • Pipeline Generation: Consistently contribute qualified pipeline for Fresche Analytics.
  • Account Penetration: Build new relationships with Finance and business stakeholders within targeted accounts.
  • Track meeting conversion, opportunity creation, pipeline generated, and overall campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in a BDR, SDR, inside sales, or business development role, preferably within technology, analytics, SaaS, or IT services.
  • Experience prospecting into senior business stakeholders; experience engaging CFOs or Finance leaders is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong phone presence and ability to engage senior decision-makers effectively.
  • Ability to understand and articulate analytics and technology concepts in a clear, business-focused manner.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM and prospecting tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, Outreach, or similar platforms.
  • Experience or familiarity with analytics, financial reporting, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data, or related technologies is considered an asset.
