Job Summary

Wallbox USA is seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to accelerate our growth across North America. This is a high-impact role for a natural hunter who thrives on building relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and driving revenue through strategic outreach and partner engagement. You’ll play a critical role in expanding our footprint, fueling partner success, and shaping the future of EV charging in North America.

As a BDR, you’ll be the engine behind our expanding sales pipeline—prospecting new clients, supporting sell-through efforts with existing partners, and identifying high-potential collaborators in the EV charging space. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Account Executives to penetrate new markets, deliver insights, and shape go-to-market strategies that move the needle.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect & Qualify Leads: Research, cold-call, email, and leverage partner networks to build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities. Launch targeted outreach campaigns to multi-family developers, fleets, electrical contractors, and more.
  • Drive Sell-Through Success: Support partner growth through training sessions, local events, and direct engagement with their customer base. Maintain strong relationships to ensure long-term success.
  • Support Account Executives: Collaborate on upsell/cross-sell strategies, provide market research, and help unlock new revenue streams within assigned territories.
  • Acquire New Partners: Scout, evaluate, and onboard new distributors, resellers, and turnkey installers. Own the early relationship and set the stage for long-term collaboration.
  • Analyze Market Trends: Stay ahead of industry shifts, incentive programs, and competitor activity to inform outreach and targeting strategies.
  • Maintain CRM Discipline: Keep Salesforce updated with all activity, leads, and partner interactions. Report regularly on pipeline health and performance metrics.
  • Hit Performance Targets: Meet or exceed quarterly goals for lead generation, partner acquisition, and sell-through contributions.

What You Bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or partner management (EV or tech industry preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter mentality with a passion for growth and innovation
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
  • Curiosity, grit, and a bias for action in fast-paced environments

Why Wallbox USA:

We’re transforming how the world charges electric vehicles—building smarter, cleaner, and more connected solutions. Join a team that’s bold, agile, and relentlessly focused on impact. If you’re energized by the challenge and ready to grow with us, we want to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
