Superside is looking for a driven Business Development Representative (Mid-Market) to accelerate our growth in North America. In this role, you’ll focus on building pipelines through outbound engagement, creating meaningful conversations with leaders in SaaS, creative, and marketing industries, and positioning Superside as the strategic partner of choice.

This isn’t about blasting cold calls. It’s about smart, personalized outreach, uncovering real challenges, and sparking long-term opportunities with global brands. You’ll collaborate closely with senior marketing and creative leaders, working alongside Account Executives to open doors and build trust at scale.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, engage, and nurture high-growth mid-market accounts across North America using a multi-channel approach (phone, email, social, and video).
  • Create tailored outreach, leveraging buying signals and insights to drive interest and start meaningful conversations.
  • Qualify prospects by uncovering needs and readiness, setting up Account Executives for success.
  • Consistently build and maintain a healthy pipeline to stay ahead of targets.
  • Act as a brand ambassador on social platforms, positioning Superside as an authority in creative and marketing innovation.
  • Leverage a world-class sales tech stack (Apollo, Sales Navigator, Sendspark) to prospect efficiently and effectively.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 1–2 years of outbound sales or business development experience, ideally in SaaS, creative services, or tech.
  • A proven cold caller who thrives on conversations with senior executives.
  • Strong communication skills (spoken and written) with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management, self-discipline, and consistency, with the ability to structure your day and hit targets independently.
  • Business acumen and curiosity to understand client challenges and position Superside as a partner, not just a vendor.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Apollo and Sales Navigator (or eagerness to learn quickly).

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
