Our client has become the leading provider of AI-powered K-12 educational technology. Through a strategic alliance uniting two renowned leaders in the science of reading, creating a powerhouse that serves 4 million students today. Together, they bring an unparalleled depth of expertise, poised to exceed the expectations of educators globally.
Location: Fully Remote
Compensation: 50-60K base plus monthly commission OTE $75K. Approx 70% of the variable is based on meetings booked and approx 30% is based on deals sourced that move to closed/won.
Job Summary (fully remote):
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will grow our customers’ business, build brand awareness, and impact the futures of students. You'll join a team leveraging advanced AI to simplify teachers' workload and accelerate literacy growth through our groundbreaking AIT method. We are looking for a BDR who is fearless in prospecting and personalized outreach (phone calls and emails). In addition, they will actively seek and employ a growth mindset to understand and improve the BDR organization.
Essential Functions:
- Perform daily cold calls, send customized emails, and build relationships while introducing our client’s solutions
- Follow up on all marketing-supplied leads in a timely manner
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Take a consultative sales approach by understanding industry trends, the objectives of school districts and individual schools, and how to leverage our offerings to those objectives
- Partner with Sales Account Executives to help develop and execute strategic plans
- Utilize Salesforce.com, Salesloft, and other tools to accurately forecast and execute strategy
- Leverages AI in everyday workflows
Qualifications:
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of exceeding targets
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Track record of success as an Outbound BDR preferred
- Tenacious and resilient in creating relationships with prospective clients, with the ability to nurture those connections
- Open to receiving feedback and applying that feedback dynamically
- High aptitude with AI
