The Business Development Representative drives pipeline and revenue by identifying potential clients, nurturing prospects, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies.
The Business Development Representative will be instrumental in driving pipeline and revenue by proactively identifying and engaging potential clients in the AMER & INTL markets. This role requires a proactive and strategic individual responsible for strategic and personalized outreach. They will generate new sales opportunities by clearly articulating the value of Secure Code Warrior and effectively nurturing prospects towards conversion.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support pipeline generation through lead research/qualification, proactive prospecting, and outreach activities Nurture both warm and cold prospects by demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and aligning our solutions to their challenges. Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, optimize outreach plans, and ensure cohesive strategies. Create opportunities through productive meeting sets, following established performance standards Build relationships with prospects through various channels such as cold calls, emails, social media outreach, and attending virtual or in-person events. Stay updated on the SCW platform, industry trends, and effective sales techniques to improve performance and engagement with prospects. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities and prospect interactions within Salesforce
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a Business or Sales Development role
- Strong track record of driving pipeline and revenue by setting high-quality meetings
- Self-starter with a proactive approach and the ability to effectively utilize available resources in a fast-paced environment
- Acute attention to detail with great organizational skills
- Creative and tenacious, willing to try new things, have an experimentation mindset, and work through challenges in pursuit of not only meeting but exceeding provided targets
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with strong communication and listening capabilities, both verbal and written
- Adaptable and collaborative team player who actively seeks and applies feedback, while also contributing valuable insights
Preferred
- Experience in collaborating effectively with sales and marketing teams to achieve shared objectives
- Previous experience or understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, or working with personas related to cybersecurity.
- Proficiency with software and tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Google Suite, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
