  • Execute outbound campaigns via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Respond to and qualify inbound marketing leads
  • Research prospects to understand their needs and key decision-makers

Lead Qualification & Pipeline Development

  • Conduct discovery conversations to assess prospect fit and readiness
  • Schedule qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives
  • Keep prospects engaged with consistent, creative follow-up

Collaboration & Execution

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on outbound campaign design and refinement
  • Work cross-functionally with Client Success on referrals and warm introductions
  • Provide feedback on prospect responses and market trends

Performance & Tools

  • Meet and exceed monthly activity goals for calls, emails, and meetings
  • Leverage Salesforce and sales engagement platforms to track pipeline and activity
  • Continuously refine your approach based on data and feedback

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role
  • Strong communication skills across phone, email, and video
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and competitive drive
  • Curiosity about sales and eagerness to learn the legal technology space
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable with rejection and persistent in follow-up
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales engagement tools
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

BENEFITS & PERKS

  • Competitive pay commensurate with experience
  • Flexible schedule
  • Comprehensive health coverage — medical (BCBS PPO and HDHP/HSA options), dental and vision (Guardian)
  • Health, Dependent, and Transit FSA
  • Generous PTO, paid holidays, flexible summer hours, quarterly mental health days, and floating holidays
  • Annual professional development stipend
  • Monthly flexible benefit stipend
  • 401(k) with company match

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
