CWA offers expedited underwriting, competitive rates, and a suite of products tailored to each merchant's needs.Job Summary:The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive company growth and revenue. This role involves developing relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong sales and negotiation skills, a proactive approach to business development, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.What you'll do:
  • Opportunity Identification: Research and identify new business opportunities, including potential clients, markets, and partnerships. Generate leads and build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including prospective and existing clients. Understand their business needs and challenges to propose effective solutions.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and business goals. Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with potential clients and partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Close deals effectively and manage the transition of new clients to the implementation phase.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to stay informed about the competitive landscape and emerging opportunities. Use insights to inform strategic decisions and business development initiatives.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions. Prepare and present regular reports on progress, pipeline status, and performance metrics to management.
What we need from you:
  • High School diploma required, bachelors degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience selling payment processing in a self-prospecting new business development sales role

Base Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 (plus uncapped commission)Pay within this range varies by work location and on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We look forward to discussing your salary expectations and our full total rewards offerings throughout the interview process.
Travel required: 20%
