Business Development Manager

USA- Home-based

Join BSI’s Knowledge Solutions team as a Business Development Manager and drive growth in the medical device sector through solution-based sales.

You'll focus on selling Compliance Navigator (link below- to preview), our powerful regulatory compliance tool, to Tier 1–3 medical device manufacturers. With a deep understanding of the industry and strong consultative sales experience, you’ll build meaningful relationships, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate with internal teams—including Regulatory Services and Product—to deliver tailored solutions to global clients.

This is your chance to contribute to safer, more innovative healthcare by equipping companies with the tools to navigate complex regulations efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development and solution-based sales within the medical device sector, focusing on Compliance Navigator.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, across Tier 1–3 clients.

  • Build strong relationships with prospects and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to senior stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal teams across Regulatory Services and Knowledge Solutions to align sales strategies and product delivery.

  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast revenue accurately using Salesforce (SFDC).

  • Work closely with Marketing and Key Account Managers to support lead generation, onboarding, and successful client handovers.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and apply product knowledge to solve customer challenges and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Prepare and deliver detailed commercial documentation and demos tailored to customer needs.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Bring proven solution sales experience in medical devices, pharma, or healthcare.

  • Own the full sales cycle across Tier 1–3 clients.

  • Show strong engagement, proactiveness, and emotional intelligence.

  • Be a confident presenter, skilled at pitching to senior stakeholders.

  • Communicate clearly and tailor messages to varied audiences.

  • Collaborate well in complex, regulated environments.

  • Be self-driven with a results-focused mindset and strong pipeline management.

  • Be tech-savvy, with good data reporting and system navigation skills.
