We are hiring immediately a Business Development Manager in our Building Services and Construction Sector in Western Region - a role that is critical in making sure our customers get the electricity, heating and cooling they need

You will be responsible for the overall development, implementation, and progress of strategic business targets.  Do you have the strategic mind set to pivot between C-Suite and Management with proven success in the commercial construction sector.

What you'll do:

  • Promoting Aggreko brand and identify, negotiate, and manage strategic relationships.
  • Identifying and developing optimal revenue models, sales/distribution channels and price determination, new product development initiatives to support prioritization and investment decision-making.
  • Assist in the annual development of sales & marketing budget and plan in coordination with company budget and strategy.
  • Spend time targeting, developing, and maintaining favorable relationship with new and existing national accounts that are in alignment with personal and company goals and strategies.
  • Assist in identifying market potential, establishing pricing and market strategies by market research or study.
  • Identify and evaluate customer needs, develop customer relationships, and implement sales strategies to progress customer relationships.
  • Responsible for annual development of sales & marketing budget and plan in coordination with company budget and strategy.
  • Design and implement marketing plan and sales programs, which focus on external as well as internal “awareness” of targeted sectors or national accounts, promote new markets and improve competitive position.
  • Deliver base business opportunities to local business units.
  • Mentor and/or coach local sales representatives in approach and technique as needed.

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • 7-10 years of direct business to business sales experience
  • Advanced knowledge of the commercial construction industry
  • Strong background in technologies like Zoom Info, Salesforce, and other intelligent sales platforms.
  • Proven track record of attaining maximum sales results through successful interaction with established customers and new prospects.
  • Passion for excellent customer service and a strive to exceed sales targets.
  • Outstanding negotiating, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
  • Partnership with other areas of the Aggreko business (Ops, Fleet, Logistics)
