About the Job:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new client acquisition and incremental revenue through business development efforts including driving a high volume and high frequency of leads, preparing client pitches, and tracking/overseeing key contacts through Helaina’s CRM system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales and a passion for developing client relationships.

What You’ll Do:
  • Initiate outreach to potential leads and build targeted relationships through unique engagement opportunities and touch points.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand our market reach.

  • Stay well-informed about industry trends, and consumer behavior to inform business strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed sales targets and drive growth.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Helaina’s products and competitive positioning.

  • Thoughtfully and effectively manage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders including managing client presentations and proposals.

  • Create and manage a measurement framework to engage stakeholders, track progress, optimize investment and improve volume of opportunities.

  • Participate in the planning of subsequent year’s sales goals and strategic plans.

  • Research and develop effective pricing strategies, analyze financial data, and ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.

  • Adapt to ad-hoc assignments as necessary to support our business goals.

About You:
  • You have at least 5 years experience in a client-facing role, and extensive knowledge of sales processes both through experience and operationally.

  • You are AI-native, leveraging AI tools and workflows to move faster, improve quality, and scale prospecting, research, outreach, and pipeline management.

  • You have strong proven negotiation and influencing abilities.

  • You have a strategic mind and vision for the bigger picture combined with a results driven mindset to ensure we keep moving forward.

  • You have strong networking, prospecting, outreach and overall client-management capabilities.

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit to create fresh ideas, and the perseverance to drive them through to execution.

  • You are a proactive self-starter, working independently to manage and move projects and tasks forward to completion.

  • You think critically with demonstrated research and analysis skills.

  • You have familiarity with CRM systems and experience using them to track leads, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate customer data.

  • You have experience working with ingredients, therapeutic, and/or B2B wellness products.

  • You are passionate about Helaina’s philosophy and mission
