Qualifications & Skills:
- Spanish native and fluent English; knowledge of the Portuguese language is a plus.
- Experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the fire safety or security systems industry.
- Ability to perform market analysis and contribute to the development of business plans.
- Knowledge of the Spanish fire markets is required.
- A basic understanding of other Ajax product lines, including intrusion detection, CCTV, automation, and water systems.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel within the Iberia region as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Market Growth & Strategy: Collaborate with the Iberia Country Manager to define a comprehensive business plan and strategy for expanding Ajax's fire system offerings across Spain and Portugal.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify new opportunities, trends, and challenges in the fire safety sector. Develop actionable insights to inform market entry and growth strategies.
- Business Planning: Support the future growth of Ajax fire systems by contributing to the creation of long-term business strategies and tactical plans to increase market share in the residential and commercial sectors.
- Regional Expertise: While knowledge of Spanish fire safety markets is an advantage, it is not a requirement. However, understanding and adapting to Iberian market dynamics is essential.
- Product Knowledge: Gain a solid understanding of the broader Ajax product portfolio, including intrusion detection, CCTV, automation, and water systems, to effectively support cross-product sales and integration.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical support, to ensure alignment on objectives and to deliver exceptional service to customers.
- Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, installers, and end-users, to foster partnerships and drive sales growth.
- Reporting: Regularly report on market conditions, sales performance, and future opportunities to the Iberia Country Manager and other senior leadership.
