Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of selling marketing services, digital advertising, sponsorships, events, and customized marketing programs.
This role is responsible for developing new business, growing existing accounts, and partnering with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs and build long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and client acquisition.
- Sell marketing services, digital advertising, sponsorships, events, and customized marketing programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Understand client objectives and recommend strategic marketing solutions that deliver value.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
- Develop proposals, presentations, and customized sales packages.
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecasts, and client activity within CRM.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and agreements while maintaining profitable client relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of client programs.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging market opportunities.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of business development or consultative sales experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling marketing services, digital advertising, sponsorships, events, or related solutions preferred.
- Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
