About the role:

Business Development Manager – Internal Audits & Supplier Solutions

BSI seeks a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive Internal Audits and Supplier Solutions growth. This role focuses on maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important large customers while coordinating BSI’s global engagement for tailored audit solutions.

 

Reporting directly to the Training Director, Americas Assurance, you will play a critical role in shaping training delivery, ensuring compliance, and driving operational efficiency that supports revenue generation across the Americas.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Achieve assigned sales targets, ensuring profitable growth and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key accounts and business leaders.
  • Collaborate with BSI’s Global Internal and Supplier Audit teams and internal stakeholders to align with service priorities and strategy.
  • To ensure retention, engage existing accounts through ongoing partnerships with Operational/Delivery teams.
  • Drive business growth by prospecting and securing new clients.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, negotiating contracts, and integrating agreements into operations.
  • Support sales colleagues across the Americas in promoting Internal and Supplier Audit services to their clients and prospects.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by engaging potential partners.
  • Ensure successful deal closures and ongoing utilization of BSI’s auditing services.
  • Demonstrate expertise in BSI’s Assurance Services—including certification, assessments, software solutions, and training—to address client needs in internal and supplier audits.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • 5+ years of solution sales and business development experience (may overlap with the above).
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Experience in assessment/audit solutions within a professional services environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis.
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.

Salary Range:
The salary for this position can range from $84,800 to $106,000 annually, depending on experience, location, and internal compensation factors.
