Job Description Summary:

This Business Development Manager, Emerging Markets is responsible for expanding Envista's footprint across Emerging Markets through the development and execution of special growth-oriented projects and capability building projects across regions. Helps coordinate common monthly operational activities and serves as a key POC for Emerging Markets working in conjunction with OpCo leadership team members to execute critical growth initiatives. This role will also be responsible for building out development funnels within Emerging Markets driving key partnerships and opportunities with potential commercial partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Strategic Growth Initiatives: Design and execute special projects aimed at expanding Envista’s presence in Emerging Markets, with a focus on commercial growth and capability building.
  • Coordinate Cross-Regional Operations: Serve as a central point of contact for Emerging Markets, aligning monthly operational activities and ensuring consistent execution across OpCo leadership teams.
  • Develop and Manage Commercial Partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and cultivate relationships with potential commercial partners to build a robust development funnel and drive market entry or expansion.
  • Drive Execution of Strategic Projects: Oversee the implementation of commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.
  • Leverage International Experience: Apply 3–5 years of international business development experience to navigate diverse markets, manage regional nuances, and collaborate with global stakeholders.
  • Conduct Market Research and Analysis: Utilize strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities, evaluate partner potential, and support data-driven decision-making for growth strategies.
  • Influence and Align Stakeholders: Build trust and influence across internal teams and external partners, ensuring buy-in and collaboration on key initiatives.
  • Support Talent and Capability Development: Contribute to building internal capabilities within Emerging Markets by identifying skill gaps and supporting development programs aligned with strategic goals.

Job Requirements:

  • 7-10 years overall experience with a minimum of 3 years experience post MBA in marketing/project management and/or business strategy roles.
  • 3-5 years of international business development experience.
  • Industry experience in Dental field preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the execution of commercial, operational, and strategic projects.
  • Experience working across multiple international regions with multiple commercial partners.
  • Ability to build trust and influence key internal and commercial partners.
  • Strong research and analytics capability focused on growth generating activities.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese.
  • Bachelor's degree in technical field required.
  • MBA or equivalent international degree preferred.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
