Attention recent college graduates! Our Business Development Team is looking to grow and develop the future leaders of sales. This entry-level role is an exciting opportunity for you to get first-hand experience in prospecting, shadowing demo calls, engaging with and sending qualified leads to our Account Executives, enhancing your communication abilities with clients and learning from the top performers at Bectran to further your hunger for success.
What You Will Do:• Engage prospective customers by phone and email.• Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure strong communication and proper hand-offs.• Make a great first impression with our prospects by demonstrating strong knowledge in key areas such as product, competitors, industry and more (you'll be thoroughly trained on this).• Hit your monthly targets for qualified demos booked and completed.• Be a product knowledge expert and successfully overcome prospective customer objections.• Actively look for opportunities to improve and optimize our sales processes.• Accurately enter and maintain clean data in our CRM (Salesforce.com).
Requirements
What You Need to Be Successful:• College degree.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Personable, outgoing and energetic.• Self-starter, results-oriented.• Quick learner.• Passion for the product/company.• Critical thinking skills.• Eagerness to grow/learn.• Any sales experience is preferred, but not required (This is an entry-level sales position created to help you develop necessary sales skills by learning and growing from top performers at Bectran).

Compensation & Benefits:
In accordance with Illinois' pay transparency requirements, we are committed to providing clear compensation information. The pay range for this position is $55k-$60k annually. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges are subject to change based on evolving market conditions or business needs.
In addition to competitive pay, Bectran offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:• 100% paid medical coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield (choice of PPO and HSA plans).• 100% paid dental, vision, and life insurance through MetLife.• Options to participate in Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) plans.• Short-term and long-term disability (STD/LTD) plans available for employee election through MetLife.• Retirement savings plan with a 401(k) offering Roth and traditional contributions through Principal.• 15 days of Paid time off (PTO) and 8 holidays off annually.
