We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Business Development Director to help bring this technology to market and drive growth across key agricultural regions.


Job Summary

Nitricity is seeking a results-driven Business Development Director to lead sales efforts primarily in Washington, Oregon, and Colorado, while supporting strategic accounts in other U.S. states as needed. This role will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by converting inbound leads into signed contracts and expanding our commercial pipeline by cultivating new customer relationships. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in the agriculture industry, with established relationships with growers in Washington and Oregon. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by converting qualified leads into long-term customer contracts.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline. 
  • Support and manage select customer accounts outside Washington, Oregon, and Colorado as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners. 
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and grower meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, marketing, and product) to support customer onboarding and satisfaction. 
  • Deliver accurate forecasts and sales reports to leadership. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, or a related field preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in agriculture or Ag-Tech industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving high-value sales targets ($25M+ preferred). 
  • Strong existing relationships with growers and ag networks in Washington and Oregon.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and traveling frequently across assigned territories. 
  • The position is in WA state

Benefits

  • $150,000-$180,000 and a bonus target.
