The Business Analyst supports operations by providing meaningful and actionable analytics. This role is responsible for driving operational and financial improvement throughout the company. The role partners with leadership to define and review analytics for process improvement and efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist team in partnering with leadership to influence business strategy through data findings and establishing meaningful, easy-to-consume reporting
- Develop and maintain operational and financial performance tracking dashboards in Tableau
- Assist in the generation of departmental business intelligence, data management, reporting and analytics
- Gather data to help compose monthly reviews of the operational and financial performance
- Assess current practices, collect information, and analyze trends to drive efficiencies
- Assess financial and operational performance; identify areas of improvement and develop solutions to help the organization grow and become more efficient
- Maintain operational reports that allow leaders to analyze financial and operational performance and identify trends with a core focus on continuous improvement
- Organize, analyze, interpret, and prepare reports on large amounts of raw data with the ability to extract relevant conclusions and trends; utilize effective communication to present results to leadership
- Fosters a positive team environment
- Ensure confidentiality of internal and external data
- Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned
You Should Have:
- Computer Skills: Proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
- Data warehouse experience (Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure, etc.) preferred
- System Experience: Tableau and SQL required Python preferred
- Proficient project management skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Analytics, Statistics, or Mathematics is preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in analytics
