The RoleThe Business Data Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and strategic use of data across both inbound and outbound platforms. This position goes beyond basic reporting—it requires analytical curiosity and comfort with data to uncover trends, identify watch areas, and deliver insights that elevate customer engagements and differentiate our product in the market.
The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for:
-Aggregating and validating data.
-Performing rules-based analysis and identifying trends in user performance.
-Defining standards for ongoing reporting and insights delivery.
-Supporting strategic value messaging by surfacing actionable insights that inform ROI narratives and engagement readouts.


 

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting & Analysis 

  • Develop and maintain weekly scorecards, tracking, and reporting  

  • Monitor industry trends and outliers to inform product evolution and customer strategy. 

  • Deliver granular, rules-based analysis for clients to meet high expectations for precision and clarity. 

  • Standardize customer reporting and analysis 

  • Define how granular rule-level data is represented to customers. 

  • Establish reporting standards and best practices. 

  • Partner with Product Seller (PS) and Solution Engineer team to align market feedback with data articulation.

  • Drive additional automation through internal and external reporting 

Strategic Impact 

  • Provide insights that shape customer engagement strategies and strengthen ROI messaging. 

  • Influence product positioning through data-driven recommendations. 


 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or related field. 

  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or reporting. 

  • Expert level in Excel, Tableau (desktop and server) and other data visualization tools (such as PowerBI). 

  • Proficiency in SQL 

  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights clearly. 

  • Experience in P&C insurance preferred. 

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Comfort with large data sets and rule-based logic. 

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
