📍Hollywood, CA | (Not Remote)About Passes:

Passes is a creator commerce and monetization platform that empowers creators to turn their audiences into sustainable businesses. We provide a flexible suite of tools — financial services, audience insights, direct fan access, and instant payouts — designed to help creators own and grow their brands on their terms. From athletes to beauty experts, creators use Passes to deepen fan relationships, unlock recurring revenue, and gain true ownership of their business.

Position Overview:

This is a foundational role on our B2B team. You will be the connective tissue that operationalizes our B2B strategy, building a scalable, data-driven ecosystem for our creator and brand partners. You're the right fit if you see a creator as a fully operational business unit and a powerful growth channel. You think in terms of ROI and LTV, and you know how to equip our creator partners with the opportunities they need to scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Development & Management
    • Identify, qualify and nurture relationships with advertising & marketing specialists at brand and agency.
    • Develop and "productize" creator offerings, packaging their unique value into sellable GTM materials our brand-facing team can take to market.
    • Drive B2B-specific revenue growth within this portfolio, focusing on opportunities beyond direct fan monetization [eg, IP licensing, co-branded ventures]
    • Work closely with internal teams to address any issues and ensure both client and creator satisfaction.
    • Develop and deliver best practices for client interaction, sales, and services.
  • B2B Data & Insights
    • Partner with our Data Science team to translate raw platform data into actionable B2B insights for both creators and brand partners.
    • Generate quarterly reports on B2B performance, highlighting key trends in creator monetization and brand partnership effectiveness.
    • Use data to identify our most valuable creator segments for B2B activities and inform our acquisition strategy.
  • New B2B Product GTM
    • Act as a key stakeholder for the Product team, providing market feedback and quantitative data to inform the roadmap for new B2B tools.
    • Manage beta testing programs with cohorts of creators and brands for new B2B features, collecting performance data and feedback.
    • Develop materials and training to support the rollout and adoption of new B2B products, tracking initial usage rates and revenue impact.
  • Analyze & Educate
    • Create thoughtful and cohesive sales presentations that drive forward our platform’s mission and values. Utilize internal and external data to develop a compelling narrative.
    • Work cross-functionally with our Creator, Data Science and Product teams to keep clients informed of industry trends and platform innovation.
    • Collaborate with external clients and internal teams to plan and implement key business initiatives.
  • Drive Revenue
    • Identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities that benefit both brands and our creator community.
    • Own and manage your own book of business, including data-informed lead generation, pipeline management and accurate revenue forecasting.
    • Analyze sales cycle and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a role at the intersection of creators and brands [eg, creator partnerships, brand partnerships, influencer marketing agency, or a B2B role at a creator-focused platform].
  • A proven track record of using data to drive decisions. You must be able to show how you used metrics to achieve a specific business outcome in a previous role.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software [eg, Salesforce, HubSpot] and data analysis tools [eg, Looker, Tableau]. Basic SQL knowledge is a major plus.
  • Deep understanding of creator monetization models and brand marketing KPIs.
  • Exceptional project management skills; you can juggle multiple work streams and stakeholders without breaking a sweat.
  • You fundamentally believe that creators are the next generation of SMBs and are excited to build the infrastructure that powers them.
Why Join Passes:
  • Competitive salary and equity package.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Industry-leading in-office perks.
  • Professional development opportunities and continuous learning support.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
