We’re looking for an experienced Senior Brand Manager to be the day-to-day steward of how our brand shows up in the world, with a strong point of view on how to turn consumer understanding into ideas that build the brand and drive the business. Reporting to our VP of Brand, this role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, culture, creativity, and commerce.

You’ll shape how the brand comes to life across campaigns, product launches, and key consumer touchpoints—from DTC and Amazon to retail, social, events, and partnerships. This is a role for a strategic and creative marketer who knows how to make things happen: someone who can connect the dots across teams, turn insights into action, and move fluidly between big-picture thinking and hands-on execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop the GTM strategy for campaigns and launches, from positioning and creative to integrated execution
  • Build brand plans in partnership with creative, channel, social, events, and partnerships teams
  • Translate consumer insights and brand strategy into activations that drive awareness, trial, and loyalty
  • Support how the brand comes to life across DTC, Amazon, retail, and other channels while maintaining cohesion
  • Identify opportunities to extend the brand into culturally relevant moments across social, events, and partnerships
  • Support product and brand partnerships that drive affinity, acquisition, and retention
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to keep initiatives aligned, moving, and on strategy
  • Use data, consumer response, and cultural feedback to sharpen the approach over time
  • Report performance, learnings, and priorities to cross-functional partners
  • Bring original ideas to the table and continually push how the brand shows up in the world

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in brand management or an equivalent marketing role, ideally in CPG
  • Track record of developing and executing integrated brand plans and go-to-market strategies
  • Experience in a DTC-first business with omnichannel exposure across Amazon and retail
  • Strong ability to translate consumer insights and brand strategy into marketing that resonates
  • Sharp instincts for culture, creative, and what makes brand storytelling compelling
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to move quickly across multiple work-streams
  • Collaborative, low-ego approach and comfort working cross-functionally across an organization
  • Clear communicator and problem-solver who can operate and influence decision independently
  • Self-starter who takes ownership, brings original ideas to the table, and thrives in a fast-paced environment

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
