Your role at Clorox:

Join the Glad team as Brand Manager, Equity, where you’ll help shape the strategic direction of a leading household brand. We’re looking for an experienced brand marketer to shape business direction, drive digital-first communication strategy and execution, lead commercial innovation and GTM execution, and manage business analytics and reporting.
With a strong pulse on consumer behavior and a data-driven mindset, the Brand Manager, Equity will identify growth opportunities and risks, implement short-and long-term GTM strategies, and translate sales data into actionable insights.
This role is crafted for a dynamic initiative-taker, who has a consumer-focused mindset, and thrives with cross-functional collaboration.

In this role, you will:

Lead breakthrough commercial innovation:

  • Oversee brand packaging, claims development, and advertising execution.
  • Track in market initiatives, lead segment acceleration plans, and  recommend in-market optimizations to maintain clearly superior consumer experience.

Drive digital-first creative strategy & execution:

  •  Brief creative agencies and work in collaboration to develop best-in-class Go-To-Market communication plans inclusive of digital-first creative development and execution.
  • Lead with an external focus- tracking the competitive landscape and identifying bold opportunities for our brand to lead in storytelling, cultural relevance, and media moments that matter.

Own Business Analytics & Reporting:

  • Leverage syndicated data and custom research to assess brand health and performance.
  • Deliver clear business summaries and narratives to the Leadership team.
  • Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly consumption analysis, coordinating with Sales and Integrated Business Planners, to build business performance narrative.
  • Own forward-looking share forecasts, “seeing ahead of the curve”, identifying risks and opportunities to protect and/or over-deliver business goals.

Execute Strategic Plan:

  • Execute the 3-year consumer-led growth plan that helps deliver the Net Customer Sales, profit, and margin targets.
  • This includes segment level base and innovation projects. 

What we look for:

  • 2+ years’ experience in packaged goods or relevant marketing field
  • 5+ years of industry experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, MBA or Masters is a plus.
  • Demostrated sucess in a Brand Manager role is essential.
  • Results Driven: Consistent track record of exceeding objectives, taking initiative and leading independently.
  • Strong Analytical Skills & Data Driven Mindset: Ability to leverage business analytics to identify business opportunities, challenges, and craft an actionable plan.
  • Strategic Mindset & Thought Leadership: Ability to influence leadership, demonstrated by ability to advance ideas with director and above.
  • Creative Strategy & Execution Experience: Experience leading digital-first creative execution. Excellent cross-functional collaboration.
  • Critical Thinking & Decision Making: Ability to navigate ambiguity to shape and drive plans and has demonstrated technical understanding of marketing priorities and KPIs.
  • Consumer Insight & Judgement: Understands key consumer insights and transforms insight into growth opportunities and recommendations.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills that drive conviction with key stakeholders
  • Cross-functional coaching & leadership: Opportunity to coach and develop junior teammates within brand team and cross-functional team

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $128,000 - $252,200

–Zone B: $117,400 - $231,200

–Zone C: $106,700 - $210,200

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
