Why Join Giga
  • The Pace: We're building at a speed most companies talk about but never actually operate at. If you've been bored somewhere else, you won't be here.
  • The Impact: Every person at Giga touches the work that matters. No layers, no waiting for approval chains. You'll see your fingerprints on what we ship.
  • The Team: A team of operators defining the future of AI infrastructure. We recruit A-players from the most innovative companies in the world, and they choose Giga because the work here means more.
  • The Moment: AI doesn't run without power, and that's us. Giga is the picks and shovels behind the AI revolution. This industry is about to explode, and you'll be in the room where it's already happening.
What you’ll do

As Brand Designer you will own and evolve our brand & design system end-to-end — paid creative, web/landing visuals, content design, and sales assets — while proactively pushing the brand forward with high-velocity iteration.

Where you’ll work

This role is remote with regular team onsites for in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Own creative for ads across channels from concept → execution → iteration
  • Translate strategy and messaging into clear, compelling visuals that strengthen the brand
  • Produce always-on content design: custom website images + post graphics/illustrations as needed
  • Design and format lead magnets (PDFs, templates, layout systems) and keep them consistent and high quality
  • Create landing page visual direction (layout, hierarchy, component specs) and partner with the web dev to implement in Webflow
  • Build and improve sales collateral: decks, one-pagers, visuals for enablement materials
  • Rapidly prototype campaign ideas and product visuals
  • Own & scale the design system (Figma components, reusable templates, brand guidelines)
Requirements
  • 5+ years in marketing/brand design with a portfolio showing paid creative, web/LP design, and sales collateral
  • Strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills; high craft with fast turnaround
  • Advanced Figma proficiency; strong file hygiene and scalable component thinking
  • Comfortable operating as an owner: proactive, opinionated, and able to prioritize for impact
  • Experience collaborating tightly with marketers, writers, and technical teammates
  • Experience building and experimenting with AI tools for creation & production
Bonus points
  • B2B experience in infrastructure, energy, data centers, or industrial products
  • Motion design/video, 3D/illustration, or strong systems/design-ops instincts
  • Familiarity with web performance/accessibility basics and marketing experimentation workflows
Who We Hire

We don't use "A-player" loosely. Here's what it actually means at Giga:

Antifragile. You don't just survive chaos, you get better because of it. When things break, change, or move sideways, you don't freeze. You adapt faster than the problem evolves.

High Agency. You don't wait to be told what to do. You see the gap, you fill it. If something is blocking progress, you find a way around it, over it, or through it without asking for permission.

Executors. Ideas are cheap. We hire people who ship. You're the person who turns a whiteboard sketch into something real while everyone else is still scheduling the next meeting about it.

Bias to Action. Perfect is the enemy of done. You'd rather make a decision with 80% of the information and course correct than sit around waiting for 100% that never comes.

Speed. We move fast because the opportunity demands it. You're not reckless, but you understand that in this industry, the team that moves fastest wins. And you like winning.

Benefits
  • Subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Equity (options) in a rapidly growing startup
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Parental leave
  • Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Commuter benefits
  • Monthly team onsites where all offices come in–person to collaborate

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
