Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized Bookkeeper/Accountant with strong QuickBooks experience to support daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, experience in job costing, and the ability to manage multiple accounting functions with accuracy and professionalism. A background in construction or manufacturing is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform job costing, including labor, materials, and cartage
• Ensure timely payments and assist with collections
• Prepare customer invoices and billing as needed
• Maintain and review accounting records, financial statements, and reports
• Monitor profitability of panel jobs and ensure accurate cost tracking
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Develop or refine processes to improve financial efficiency
• Prepare reports and present findings to management
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide general office support
• Ensure compliance with tax requirements, including sales tax and 1099 filings
• Handle Pre-Liens and Lien Waivers
• Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Full-cycle bookkeeping experience, including general ledger
• Strong QuickBooks proficiency
• Experience with accounting software and reporting tools
• Construction or manufacturing industry experience is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
