Lead and supervise the Trade Services team, provide customs compliance guidance to internal/external clients, resolve compliance issues, support sales/RFQs, conduct audits and classification, and manage major compliance accounts while assisting business development.

Your role on the team:
- Reports to the Sr. Director Trade Services
- Supervises the Bond Trade Services department
- Provides Bond Trade Services personnel with custom compliance guidance
- Provides internal and external clients with customs compliance guidance
- Assist with business development related activities with a focus on growth.
- Resolves customer custom bonds compliance issues to include research and guidance
- Coordinates with Company offices to ensure customer custom compliance
- Provides assistance to Sales and Marketing department in preparing RFQ’s and sale bids
- Performs special customer project work as needed
- Supervises major Company bond compliance accounts
What you need:
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and training
- Knowledge of customs regulations and other government agency requirements
- PC literate to include Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and co-workers
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to negotiate profitable partner relationships with regional and National logistics clients
