The Bitcoin Product Marketing Manager will sit across Cash App and Square and partner closely with Product, Insights, Data Science, Design, Finance & Strategy, Engineering, Sales, and Communications. You will lead go-to-market strategy for our most important bitcoin initiatives, shape product positioning, and help bring dozens of new bitcoin features and experiences to market across both consumer and seller ecosystems.
You'll craft compelling narratives, drive cross-functional alignment, and build repeatable frameworks that keep us moving quickly in a high-velocity environment. You'll advocate for our customers, understand what drives adoption, and ensure every launch - big or small - ladders up to one cohesive Bitcoin at Block story.

You Will
- Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for priority bitcoin products across Cash App and Square; from positioning and messaging through launch, amplification, and measurement
- Build clear, insight-driven product narratives that unify how we talk about bitcoin across consumer, seller, and ecosystem touchpoints
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to deepen understanding of bitcoin customers and seller segments; surface insights that shape positioning, roadmap priorities, and GTM strategy
- Develop competitive and market insights across bitcoin payments, custody, and ecosystem products to inform strategy, differentiation, and long-term opportunity
- Write strong briefs, build messaging frameworks, and partner with Creative on product-driven campaigns that bring bitcoin utility to life
- Work with Product teams to understand roadmaps, define ICPs, influence feature development, and connect launches to customer needs
- Create data-driven measurement plans, define KPIs, and partner with Data Science and Finance to track performance and uncover insights
- Partner with owned and paid channel teams to turn product moments into cohesive, multi-channel marketing
- Engage with customers online and IRL to understand pain points, gather insights, and inform positioning
- Collaborate with emerging bitcoin brands like Bitkey and Proto to ensure ecosystem coherence across positioning, messaging, and campaigns
- Support central marketing teams by providing positioning, messaging, and product insights that strengthen readiness across channels and operational partners
- Build and maintain cross-functional GTM workflows that keep dozens of stakeholders aligned and accountable
You Have
- 6-10 years in product marketing, ideally across bitcoin, consumer fintech, payments, or emerging technology
- Experience owning GTM strategy end-to-end for technical or multi-surface products
- A strong POV on positioning, messaging, and what drives adoption across different customer segments
- Experience conducting customer research and synthesizing insights into actionable product and marketing decisions
- Deep familiarity with bitcoin, Lightning, and the broader ecosystem; you bring enough technical grounding to speak confidently, assess feature implications, and ensure our positioning is accurate, credible, and compelling
- A data-driven approach to decision-making, with experience building KPIs, measurement plans, and post-launch insights
