Oates Energy is a leader in the energy industry, and we are seeking a Billing Assistant to join our remote team. This role involves supporting the billing department by ensuring accurate billing processes and timely invoicing for energy services.
Position Overview
The Remote Billing Assistant will help with invoice generation, billing inquiries, and data entry related to customer billing and payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Generation: Assist in generating and verifying invoices for customers.
- Payment Tracking: Track and reconcile payments, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Customer Inquiries: Address customer inquiries regarding their billing and payments.
- Data Entry: Ensure billing data is entered accurately into the system.
- Reporting: Assist in generating financial reports for the accounting department.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or similar roles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Familiarity with billing software and accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $24+ per hour (depending on experience).
