Title: Bilingual Transition Coordinator
Pay Rate: $25 - $29 per hour

Locations: Torrance, CA and other locations as needed

Schedule: 5, 8 hour shifts
Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide top tier customer service to medical facilities, the public, and our field staff

  • Maintain professional demeanor while communicating with customers and family members

  • Work closely with medical facilities to serve as an information hub for DocGo

  • Display knowledge of appropriate medical terminology and conditions.

  • Close business hours M-F 0900-1750 but be flexible - your work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business

  • Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, case managers, co-workers, supervisors, and the public

  • When necessary, develops solutions for existing clients, including processing calls for service, interacting with supervisors and dispatch, calling requestors and mobile health visits scheduled for customers

  • Actively formulate new strategies to reach out to new potential customers

  • Own and manage a pipeline of patient referrals and patient information

  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly goals with referral capture rate percentage and patient satisfaction

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent bilingual in English and Spanish 

  • Valid CA Driver’s License (minimum of 2 years) with an acceptable driving record  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & general computer skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be willing to operate out of assigned medical facilities for primary location

  • Experience working in the healthcare industry 

  • Warm and friendly personality

  • Persistent and persuasive

  • Adaptable and can think on your feet

  • 1 year experience working in a license medical field role preferred
