THE OPPORTUNITY
Cyera is seeking a BDR Enablement Lead to drive the success and development of our Business Development Representative (BDR) team by delivering high-impact training, coaching, and skill-building programs tailored to early-career sellers.
As a core member of the Enablement team, you’ll work closely with BDR Leadership, Sales Management, and cross-functional partners to build a strong foundation of sales skills, product knowledge, and professional confidence. You’ll facilitate onboarding and ongoing training, serve as a mentor for early-career professionals, and help bridge the gap from “backpack to briefcase” ensuring our BDRs ramp quickly and grow into high-performing sellers.
This role requires an on-site presence in either New York City or Chicago, and is ideal for someone who thrives in face-to-face coaching, interactive training, and building culture and camaraderie in a high-energy sales floor environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the dedicated Enablement partner for the BDR team, collaborating with BDR Managers and Sales Leaders to define and execute training priorities.
- Design, deliver, and iterate on BDR onboarding programs, building core competencies in prospecting, messaging, objection handling, qualification, and handoffs.
- Facilitate ongoing skills development sessions, call coaching workshops, product refreshers, and SDR/AE alignment programs.
- Act as a mentor and coach for early-career sellers—providing professional guidance, real-time feedback, and career growth support.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align BDR enablement content with active campaigns, messaging, ICPs, and go-to-market strategy.
- Help create a structured path for BDRs to advance within the organization by reinforcing skill progression and sales methodology foundations.
- Drive adoption of sales tools (e.g., outreach, CRM, sales intelligence) and reinforce best practices for daily productivity and performance.
- Use call analytics, performance data, and manager feedback to assess skill gaps, track enablement impact, and adjust programs accordingly.
- Build a strong enablement culture in-office by leading live sessions, shadowing, roundtables, and mini bootcamps that create energy and accountability.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Training, BDR/SDR Management, or related GTM roles in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- Prior experience training or mentoring early-career sellers, with a passion for helping others grow and succeed professionally.
- On-site availability in New York City or Chicago (or willingness to relocate).
- Proven ability to design and facilitate onboarding and skills-based training for sales development teams.
- Deep understanding of BDR/SDR workflows, tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesforce, Gong), and KPIs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high emotional intelligence and leadership presence.
- Comfortable using LMS/CMS platforms and authoring tools to maintain and deliver content.
- Highly collaborative and adaptable in fast-paced, high-change environments.
