About the location:

Overlooking the Venetian Lagoon and just steps from Piazza San Marco, Danieli, a Four Seasons Hotel, Venice is an iconic property offering elegant, spacious accommodations. The historic hotel showcases majestic Venetian architecture dating back to the 14th century. Guests can also enjoy spectacular views of Venice’s landmarks from the rooftop Restaurant Terrazza Danieli.

About the Role

The Bar Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the beverage operations across all bars, lounges, and restaurants within the property. This role ensures the delivery of an exceptional beverage experience that aligns with Four Seasons’ standards of service and quality.

You will manage daily bar operations, curate innovative beverage offerings, and maintain high standards of product knowledge, consistency, and guest engagement. Working closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and Restaurant Managers, you will play a key role in driving the success of the beverage program while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within the team.

What You Will Do

  • Manage daily bar operations and staff across all outlets.
  •  Collaborate on beverage menus and signature cocktails with culinary and F&B teams.
  •  Oversee inventory, purchasing, and cost control.
  •  Ensure compliance with health, safety, and service standards.
  •  Maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and partners.

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role overseeing multiple bar operations within a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixology, with a passion for innovation and hospitality.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage costs, inventory, and supplier relations effectively.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for service excellence and creating memorable guest experiences.

Schedule & Location

  • Full-time position based at Hotel Danieli, Venice
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

 You must possess the legal right to work in Italy and have fluency in English and Italian.
