The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Build distributed backend systems for real-time detection, taking ownership of ingestion, analysis, and production infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Develop real-time signal ingestion and detection systems.
- Design infrastructure for significant growth in volume.
- Integrate machine learning and AI capabilities into production applications.
- Improve engineering architecture and implementation patterns.
- Own system design and delivery in close collaboration with technical leadership.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 2 to 4 years of backend or distributed systems engineering experience.
- Experience building data-intensive systems, ingestion pipelines, or distributed processing.
- End-to-end ownership of systems in a startup environment.
- A computer science degree and strong database and distributed-systems knowledge.
- Ability to scope, design, and ship technical work independently.
Bonus points
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
- Background in quantitative or large-scale infrastructure engineering.

- Base salary: USD 170,000 to 220,000 per year.
