As a Backend Product Software Engineer focused on the Commerce Platform at Dropbox, you will play a pivotal role in building and evolving the systems that power the monetization of Dropbox products across diverse storefronts. You’ll help shape a suite of scalable, resilient services that support millions of users globally. Your work will span planning and forecasting platform growth, driving architectural improvements, enhancing performance and reliability, and ensuring security and seamless customer experiences.

Many teams at Dropbox run Services with on-call rotations, which entails being available for calls during both core and non-core business hours. If a team has an on-call rotation, all engineers on the team are expected to participate in the rotation as part of their employment. Requirements- 5+ years of experience building applications professionally.
- BS degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field. (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience.
- Delivered tangible results, from conceptualization to implementation, while making significant contributions to the success of the project.
- Experience in developing web applications, demonstrating a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in building robust and scalable systems.
- Contributions to open source projects or technical communities
