About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our fast-growing, AI-driven technology company. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our core web application, which is primarily built on Laravel (80% backend focus) with React.js on the frontend.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy new features and functionality for our web platform
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions
Leverage AI and automation tools to improve debugging and development workflows
Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Mentor and guide junior developers on best practices
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of full-stack web development experience
Proficient in PHP, Laravel, and React.js
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, database design, and software architecture
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AI/ML tools and techniques
Familiarity with Coursera or similar code automation platforms
Background in product-focused software development
