Are you an experienced leader in auto finance with a strong background in direct lending and customer acquisition? Lendbuzz is seeking an accomplished B2C Manager to spearhead our direct-to-consumer lending initiatives. This role will be instrumental in developing and managing a small team dedicated to improving customer engagement and optimizing the online auto financing process. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in auto refinancing, sales funnels, and phone-based sales, with a proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Development & Leadership: Build, train, and manage a team of two specialists starting in 2025 to expand our direct-to-consumer lending operations. Foster a high-performance culture and provide ongoing coaching to ensure the team meets and exceeds targets.
  • Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement strategies to drive online applications and improve conversion rates, ensuring that Lendbuzz provides an efficient and seamless experience for customers throughout the application process.
  • Customer Journey Oversight: Manage the entire customer journey from initial online application to loan approval, ensuring a smooth and frictionless process that enhances customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Funnel Optimization: Analyze and optimize sales funnels to boost customer acquisition and retention, focusing on improving engagement, shortening approval timelines, and increasing conversion rates.
  • Phone-Based Sales Training: Train and mentor team members in effective phone-based sales techniques and customer service, ensuring they are equipped to engage with customers and close deals efficiently.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that drive traffic to the Lendbuzz website and increase engagement, helping to enhance brand visibility and drive leads.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor performance metrics for the B2C lending program, preparing reports on team effectiveness, customer acquisition costs, and ROI. Use data insights to continuously improve processes.
  • Industry Trends & Compliance: Stay up-to-date with trends in auto refinancing, consumer lending regulations, and digital sales channels to ensure compliance and competitive positioning in the market.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a managerial role within the auto finance industry, with specific expertise in auto refinance and direct lending.
  • Proven success in managing sales teams and achieving sales targets, with a track record of leading teams to exceed goals.
  • Strong understanding of digital sales channels, customer acquisition strategies, and direct marketing, particularly in the auto finance space.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to engage customers, build rapport, and close deals over the phone.Proficiency in CRM software and a deep understanding of analytics to drive data-driven decisions and optimize performance.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
