As a Telesales Representative, you will focus on outbound telemarketing B2B sales, promoting Spectrum Business products and services (Internet, Voice, Video & Mobile) to new prospects and upselling existing customers. You'll spend your time in an office call center environment where employees may need to be seated for long periods of time. This could look like using a telephone headset and computer with multiple screens, with potential exposure to moderate noise levels.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent further education in sales or business is a plus
  • Experience: 2+ years call center or 1+ sales or marketing role
  • Technical skills: Effectively use CRM software and call center technology while utilizing job-specific software applications
  • Skills: Strong communication skills; including negotiation and persuasion, with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Abilities: Listen, formulate needs-based sales strategies, goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales target while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years Experience in B2B Sales or in a similar role, preferably in the telecommunications or cable industry
  • 1+ years of ICOMS and/or CSG work experience, or experience with similar billing software
  • 2+ years of Call Center and/or Telecommunication Sales Experience
