THE OPPORTUNITY
Wavicle is looking for a hands-on Azure Solution Architect to design, build, and implement robust cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. This role combines strategic architecture planning with active participation in coding, deployment, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of Azure services, and the ability to lead by doing.
WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO:
- Design and implement Azure-based cloud solutions that meet business, security, and scalability requirements.
- Actively participate in development, deployment, and automation tasks—this is not just a design role.
- Write and review code/scripts related to Azure infrastructure (ARM/Bicep/Terraform), functions, APIs, or integration workflows.
- Lead and collaborate with engineering teams during solution implementation and troubleshooting.
- Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for automated deployments.
- Configure and manage Azure resources including App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Key Vault, Storage, and networking components.
- Ensure solutions follow best practices in performance, security, and cost optimization.
- Stay current with Azure technology updates and apply relevant innovations to solutions.
REQUIRED SKILLS THAT WILL DRIVE SUCCESS AT WAVICLE:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure architecture and deployment.
- Strong skills in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (ARM, Bicep, or Terraform).
- Proficient in working with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying and managing Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Logic Apps, and Azure SQL.
- Background in .NET, Python, or similar languages is a plus.
- Solid understanding of Azure security, identity, and governance (Azure AD, RBAC, policies).
