YOU WILL BE:
As the Associate Vice President, Regional Operations you will provide leadership and training support to the Operations Sr Leaders within their assigned geographical area of responsibility. You will be accountable for driving sales and profitability, minimizing expenses, and improving productivity within the region by achieving operations excellence and supporting an exciting in-store environment that follows the merchandise strategies of the company. You are a subject matter expert and are focused on operational procedures, policies, controls and business effectiveness.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Develop strategies that increase efficiency and improve bottom-line profitability.
- Lead cross-functional partnerships to champion innovative, customer-centric solutions
- Provide consistent coaching to stores on core KPIs and assist in the development of action plans to correct or improve execution.
- Ensure that all stores understand and execute to the company’s operational standards and expectations
- Monitor operational KPI’s monthly and work with underperforming stores to take corrective action
- Serve as the first point of contact for the General Managers, Store Directors and all Director of Operations leaders, for all Operational concerns
- Deliver ongoing operational overviews to RVPs identifying stores that require development to improve operational effectiveness
- Build strong partnerships within the regional teams and Home Office Shared Services (facilities, alterations, people services, asset protection, etc)
- Collaborate with Credit & Loyalty teams to drive PLCC acquisition and usage.
- Oversee execution of the Dock- to -Floor process, ensuring KPI targets are met.
- In partnership with Corporate Asset Protection, review and approve all Store Shortage action plans to ensure all operational issues are addressed.
- Lead partnership with Corporate Asset Protection, facilitate Store Physical Inventory preparation and reconciliation.
- Enforce compliance with key business practices as outlined in the Store Audit document and that stores can achieve a minimum rating of 3 or better should they be audited.
- Ensure stores maintain building maintenance and store cleanliness that align with a luxury store environment.
- Collaborate on the re-design of operational processes and procedures based on needs of the business and customer requirements
- Coordinate the implementation of all new store system changes and or launches with Information Services and training
- Monitor and provide input into potential revisions to operations and procedural manuals
- Ensure all operational policies and procedures are understood and executed in all stores
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or commensurate retail experience
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Store Operations as a High-Volume Store Manager or retail operations
- Dynamic, high-energy individuals able to demonstrate outstanding leadership competencies
- Self-starter with consistent clear communication skills (written and oral)
- Superior analytical skills with ability to recommend solutions
- Superior organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Able to work effectively in multi-store environment
- Ability to work with all levels of organization to build partnerships
