Responsibilities
The role is responsible for assisting the implementation and managing programs that promote a culture of security awareness across the organization. The role will develop and deliver training materials and awareness campaigns tailored to various audiences, ensuing employees under and adopt best practices to mitigate cyber risks. Additional responsibilities include measuring the effectiveness of awareness initiatives, analyzing human risk factors, and continuously improving the program based on feedback and emerging threats.

- Work with the security team to identify our top human risks and the behaviors we need to change to manage those risks.
- Work with the security team to identify the different roles that will require additional or specialized skills-based training and the skills they need to ensure they can do their jobs safely and securely.
- Develop and manage our security training program that effectively engages our workforce and enables them to exhibit the behaviors and skills to make the most of our technology safely and securely
- Support the security team in all organizational wide communications or tool rollouts.
- Create a positive security program that builds on and aligns with our organizational culture and promotes how people benefit from security.
- Structure and sustain this program to be long term, so we are not changing just behaviors but ultimately institutionalize a strong, positive security culture where people believe in and prioritize cybersecurity.
- Create a metrics framework that can effectively measure and communicate the impact of the program.
- Ensure that our security program meets all industry security training regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to communicate and market complex messages in a simple, clear and engaging manner within our organization. In addition, have experience with different types of communications methods. A key part of effective engagement is leveraging multiple methods of communications.
- Project management experience, the ability to plan, manage and maintain a complex, organization wide program over the longer term.
- The ability to take the initiative, reach out to and coordinate with different people in different departments. Collaboration and partnering with others, to include people in other countries, is a key factor to success.
- Understand the concepts of organizations behavior, culture and how culture impacts how people behave, learn and interact with others.
- Understanding of learning theory or instructional design, including models such as ADDIE.
- While extensive cybersecurity or technical experience is not required, you will be expected to continually work with and learn from our security team and stay current with the latest cybersecurity risks, threat actors and their changing tactics, techniques and procedures, to include working with Cyber Threat Intelligence and Security Operations Center.
- SANS Security Awareness Professional (SSAP) credential or any certifications in Organizational Change, Marketing, Instructional Design or Communications will be considered a plus.
For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $93,000 - $138,00 and for Woodland Hills, CA. the base salary range is $113,000 - $151,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
