Target Range:

$75,000.00 /Yr. - $125,000.00 /Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

The Consumer IT Staff Operations Manager is a key strategic partner and right hand to the SVP, Head of Consumer Bank Development, responsible for streamlining operations, aligning departmental operations, driving critical initiatives, and facilitating effective decision-making across departments. This role combines strategic planning, program management, internal communications, and operational excellence to ensure the Consumer IT department runs efficiently. This individual serves as a force multiplier for the leadership team, ensuring the organization operates efficiently, stays aligned with strategic priorities, and maintains a culture of accountability and excellence.
This position is on-site and located at our HQ in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution
    • Support the SVP, Head of Consumer Bank Development in developing and executing strategic plans
    • Coordinate and track progress of strategic initiatives across departments
    • Prepare briefings, dashboards, and reports for executive decision-making
  • Executive Support & Communication
    • Act as a liaison between the SVP, Head of Consumer Bank Development and internal/external stakeholders
    • Draft and review communications, presentations, and reports
  • Operational Oversight
    • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in organizational processes
    • Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure timely delivery of outcomes
    • Oversee internal communications and promote interdepartmental collaboration
  • Budget & Resource Management
    • Support annual IT budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning efforts.
    • Monitor departmental spending and resource allocation to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Leadership & Culture
    • Serve as a sounding board and thought partner to the Consumer IT leadership team
    • Champion company values and help shape organizational culture
    • Facilitate leadership team meetings and planning sessions
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure Consumer IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks are maintained
    • Drive risk management and compliance initiatives, including audit readiness and data privacy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in management consulting, operations, strategy, or executive support roles
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • High emotional intelligence, discretion, and a proactive mindset
  • Experience in a startup, high-growth, or mission-driven environment is preferred
  • Proven ability to influence and lead without direct authority is preferred
