About the role


The AVP of Client Success Management plays a critical leadership role in driving exceptional client outcomes and advancing Tidal’s reputation as a premier partner in the ETF ecosystem. This individual will own the onboarding and relationship management of high-value clients, serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, and champion initiatives that enhance long-term client value. The AVP will collaborate across internal teams to anticipate client needs, deliver proactive solutions, and design scalable processes that strengthen Tidal’s client success function. 


This is a strategic, client-facing role suited for a professional with deep industry experience, a proven ability to manage complex relationships, and a forward-looking approach to growth and innovation. 


What you'll do

Client Onboarding and Strategic Launch Support 

  • Lead the onboarding of new clients, ensuring a seamless and professional experience from day one. 
  • Oversee the ETF launch process in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines. 
  • Serve as a senior point of escalation during onboarding, resolving challenges with urgency and professionalism. 

Relationship Management and Strategic Engagement 

  • Act as the primary relationship manager for key clients, conducting regular executive-level check-ins and reviews. 
  • Build and sustain long-term, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders. 
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively develop solutions that drive success. 
  • Provide strategic guidance on industry trends, market developments, and best practices. 

Client Advocacy and Value Enhancement 

  • Serve as the voice of the client internally, ensuring client perspectives influence decision-making and innovation. 
  • Partner with internal teams to design and implement process improvements that elevate client service delivery. 
  • Drive initiatives that enhance client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership value. 

Cross-Selling and Business Growth 

  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through cross-selling of Tidal’s services. 
  • Present compelling, value-driven solutions that align with client objectives. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on new product launches and strategic initiatives to grow client assets. 

Industry Expertise and Leadership 

  • Maintain deep knowledge of the ETF and asset management industries to deliver informed, strategic counsel to clients. 
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and client-first thinking within the Client Success team. 
  • Represent Tidal at industry events and client-facing forums as a senior ambassador of the brand. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required. 
  • Advanced degree (MBA, JD) or relevant professional designations (CFA, CAIA, Series licenses) preferred. 
  • 7–10+ years of experience in client success, relationship management, or a similar client-facing leadership role in financial services, asset management, or ETFs. 
  • Demonstrated track record of managing and growing complex institutional client relationships. 
  • Strong familiarity with ETFs, fund launches, and industry regulatory frameworks. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at senior levels. 
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, client-first mindset. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to evaluating client feedback and performance outcomes. 


We are prioritizing candidates who are located within proximity to Chicago, IL; Milwaukee, WI; New York City, NY; and West Palm Beach, FL.
