Anduril is seeking a motivated and talented Equipment Automation Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for undergraduate students majoring in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. The intern will gain hands-on experience working with a variety of equipment, including PLCs, robotics, sensors, and electrical control panels. This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills and contribute to impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of automation systems.
- Work with PLCs, robotics, sensors, and electrical control panels.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in the testing and validation of automated equipment.
- Document processes and create technical reports.
- Support the maintenance and optimization of existing automation systems.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be returning to school at the end of this internship to continue academic studies.
- Experience with sensors, actuators, motor control, or power electronics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CAD software and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or C++.
- Previous internship or project experience in automation or related fields.
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
