Are you a visionary Product Owner ready to shape the next generation of enterprise automation? The Standard Insurance Company is seeking a forward-thinking, skilled, and driven Automation Product Owner to lead our Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) Strategy & Development team. As our Agile Product Owner for Automation, you’ll be at the forefront of integrating AI-powered automation into core business processes, unlocking new efficiencies and extending capabilities across the enterprise. You’ll partner with senior leaders to craft and execute a roadmap that blends out-of-the-box RPA solutions with custom AI innovations, delivering scalable, governance-ready automation that redefines how work gets done.
We’re looking for someone who can inspire adoption, champion change, and guide teams toward a future where automation is not just a tool, but a strategic advantage.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the vision and execution of enterprise-wide IPA initiatives
- Partner with leaders and SMEs to explore processes and envision automation opportunities that maximize impact
- Drive adoption of RPA + AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes
- Balance innovation with governance to ensure ethical, scalable, secure deployments
- Engage stakeholders and boost visibility through forums and satisfaction metrics
- Own delivery outcomes and ensure automation initiatives meet defined KPIs and impact targets
- Partner with the Change Management Organization and Communication leads on change/communication plans.

Skills and Background You'll Need
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- EXPERIENCE: 4–5 years in Product Owner or similar role is required. Experience in RPA/IPA/Automation is highly preferred. Experience with AI products is preferred. Experience in insurance or financial services industry is preferred.
- Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is required, including experience implementing through agile practices/ incremental releases. Understanding of the SDLC is preferred.
- Proficiency with PowerBI, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint is required. Experience with process mapping/flow charts, data & analytics, and exposure or experience as an automation developer is preferred. Proven success using visual tools to clarify complex workflows, support development, and facilitate stakeholder alignment. Experience with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Process/Task Mining, and related tools is preferred.
- Business Case Development & Process Automation Strategy: Comfortable with PowerPoint to clearly communicate project scope and automation opportunities, including ROI and technical feasibility of IPA solutions. Skilled in analyzing and redesigning business processes through As-Is vs. To-Be mapping to uncover inefficiencies and accurately define automation scope.
- Stakeholder Management: Superior customer focus, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to translate technical, process automation and AI concepts, and business perspectives for non-technical audiences.

Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.
Salary Range:
$107,250.00 - $182,000.00Positions will be posted for at least 5 days from original posting date.
