A DevOps Engineer, Senior, designs, develops, and maintains automation frameworks and tools to improve productivity and quality across the organization.

General Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, resolves, and escalates service impacting issues.
  • Uses continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline to support automated testing and deployments.
  • Develop monitoring and alerting platforms to detect and resolve performance impacting issues.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and provide solutions that meet business needs.
  • Provides technical support to the development team.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Level-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Leads the design and implementation of complex automation solutions that span multiple teams and systems.
  • Develops and maintains automation strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Evaluates new automation technologies and tools and makes recommendations for adoption.
  • Automates and streamlines software delivery processes.
  • Implements advanced integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and deployment strategies.
  • Develops and implements metrics and analytics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of automated processes.
  • Mentors and provides guidance to junior team members, promotes best practices, and maintains quality standards.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in automation and provides guidance to other team within the organization.

Accountability/Complexity:

  • May manage projects requiring the responsibility of delegating work and reviewing resulting work product.
  • May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within job area. 
  • May function as a team lead and assistant to the supervisor/manager.  

Experience

  • 6 year’s relevant experience.

Education:
Must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
  • Associate’s Degree in a Technical Field
  • Certification in relevant focus area
