Automat AI is hiring a Sales Development Representative to join our fast-growing team. As an SDR, you will help generate new business and expand current customer accounts.
You'll be the voice of Automat to potential customers, contributing to our mission of making the simplest, most affordable tool for businesses to automate their work.
Traditional automation software is slow and expensive, so we built Automat. We use AI to make building automations 10X faster and 1/10th the price. It lets companies automate their work without a massive team or budget.
We have the pleasure of collaborating with a wide variety of companies, including large enterprises and small businesses, to create automations. This presents an exciting opportunity for individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrive on interacting with customers and aspire to make a meaningful impact at a rapidly growing startup.
What you’ll do:
- Drive full sales cycle, including prospecting, follow-ups, and closing deals.
- Represent Automat professionally and develop relationships with existing and new clients.
- Conduct sales presentations to cultivate customer relationships and drive long-term account growth.
- Plan and execute sales strategy, provide forward-looking analysis, and contribute to document creation.
- Provide feedback on customer/prospect needs, industry trends, and market intelligence.
- Achieve sales quota and maintain a healthy pipeline through cold emailing and calling target accounts.
Who you are:
- Have closed deals and ran full sales cycles
- 1+ years of outbound SDR/BDR experience
- 1+ years of Account Executive closing experience
- Previous experience in enterprise software sales (ideally AI-related)
- Worked in an organization with a defined sales process
- Highly curious and eager to learn
- Passionate about AI agents, technological advancements, and their real-world applications.
- Strong English communication skills
- Bonus: Bilingual
About the interview
Interview Process: At Automat, we're looking for SDRs who are truly passionate about bringing state-of-the-art AI research into the hands of our customers. You'll work closely with a highly technical team of engineers to understand our product and technology and will ultimately be responsible for building new relationships with customers.
Our interview process is designed to find SDRs that can empathize with customer needs, present Automat well, extend its brand through its own communication, and help bring new deals to a closing state like clockwork.
