We are seeking an Attorney to join our Legal team as a contractor. In this temporary, contractor position, you will partner closely with our in-house legal, procurement, and business teams to ensure our contracts are accurate, clear, and aligned with company policies. You’ll bring a keen eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

This role is a remote contract position.

Your day-to-day:

  • Structure, review, draft,  redline, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, sales, vendor and procurement, SaaS , IT,  marketing, consulting, data processing and AI addendums.
  • Negotiate contract terms directly with counterparties or through their counsel.
  • Provide clear, concise legal guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.
  • Utilize internal contract and/or vendor management tools to track and update contract status and manage timelines to ensure prompt turnaround.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align contract terms with business objectives and risk tolerance.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 4+ years of experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably in-house or with clients in fintech, financial services, or technology.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and key commercial terms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and compliance.
  • Prior experience in a consumer-facing fintech or regulated financial services environment preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements impacting fintech businesses (e.g., privacy, marketing, data security) preferred but not required.

Timeline:

  • Expected timeframe is late August 2025 through November 2025 for 3 months with possibility of extension.
