Overview

The Assure Smart Apps Program Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the coordination, governance, and execution of Smart App initiatives across the enterprise. This leader will partner closely with product owners, engineering, delivery, and go-to-market teams to ensure Smart App strategy alignment, resource optimization, and consistent delivery of business value.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Alignment

  • Serve as the central coordination point for all Smart App workstreams, ensuring alignment with product, engineering, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across global teams to maintain a unified Smart App roadmap.
  • Partner with product leaders (L&A, P&C, Reinsurance, Global Specialty) to prioritize, sequence, and track Smart App initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication and engagement across stakeholders to ensure consistent execution and visibility of progress.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Manage global Smart App R&D and deployment budgets, including hours, spend, and resource utilization.
  • Provide monthly reporting on investment allocation, progress, and value realization.
  • Collaborate with Finance and senior leadership to forecast and allocate funding for ongoing and upcoming initiatives.
  • Optimize resourcing across teams to maintain delivery efficiency.

Governance & Reporting

  • Establish and maintain clear governance frameworks for Smart App development, review, and release.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor project status, risks, and outcomes.
  • Ensure documentation, compliance, and communication standards are maintained across all Smart App programs.
  • Lead the implementation of standardized development and release processes to drive transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field (PMP preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in program or portfolio management within enterprise software, digital transformation, or insurance technology.
  • Strong understanding of workflow automation, low-code platforms, and composable architecture concepts.
  • Proven ability to manage global cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $95,900 - $178,100.
